This is a dramatic reading of the Three-Eyed Crow’s (aka Lord Brynden “Bloodraven” Rivers) lesson to Bran about the effects of time on men and trees, and the ability of greenseers to glimpse the past. It is taken from Bran Stark’s third chapter in A DANCE WITH DRAGONS (book 5 of George R. R. Martin’s A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE saga).
